Wolf I 2022 I 03:20 min. I Three channel video installation

The video installation "Wolf" consists of three videos that are projected side by side on the wall and run simultaneously in an endless loop. Six different scenes alternate at intervals, which always results in new connections.

You can see a cube whose side edges flicker in cool colors in the dark. In the cube you can see the red silhouette of a person in different positions.

It is not clear whether it is one and the same person or whether everything is happening at the same time. The room cannot be located correctly either. The deep black surroundings evoke associations with outer space, cyber space or the subconscious.

The videos were created using a complex digital stop-motion process. The set and cast were filmed and the footage edited in post production. They were then projected as individual frames onto a stack of acrylic glass plates and photographed using long exposure. These photographs were then reassembled into a video.
